Water leak inside truck during rain

06' GC Limited Hemi.
Leaking from the passenger side handle attached to windshield.

There are two tabs on the pillar and the top tab was leaking water all over during a very heavy rain storm. I'll be posting pictures soon to give an idea where the water was coming from incase you don't already know.

I looked outside and can see no visible body molding, or weather seal imperfections. Is there drain tubes through there where runoff water goes incase the vent is open on my sunroof?

Any help appreciated.

Sun roof drain is leaking. Not sure how to fix it but someone will chime in.

Do a search on sun roof leaks n it will tell u how to repair the drain hose from the sun roof. Very easy fix. There is even a YouTube how to fix the drain hose.

If.you get one of those cans of compressed air and shoot it down the tube it would probably work.

I had a similar leak on the driver side, but in my case it was not the drain tube, it was a tiny body seam that is located at the top corner of the windshield. You can see it with a flashlight and mirror from inside after you remove the column.

I poured gallons of water down my drain tubes looking for leak and it never showed up. Here is my thread on the subject and how I fixed it.

Had the same problem on the drivers side, sounds like the sun roof drain. If you use power air be careful you don't blow the clamp off and destroy your drain all together.

Sounds like im we're on the right track. Thanks alot, and i'll be updating as soon as possible.

Have a 2006 Grand Cherokee with the same problem. Once in a long while I'll get a drip on my left leg, only happens when I get in the auto to start it. I've also had it drip from the small plastic access covers on the A-column (not sure what those covers are for ?). I'd like to know how to get to the sunroof drainage tube - I couldn't see it looking in the front of the sunroof opening. Does it stick out the bottom of the bodywork ?
