Washer pump electrical connector removal

Replacing the pump on 05 grand cherokee, am stumped by the challenge of disconnecting the connector from the top of the pump assembly. I did my due diligence and search this forum and others but no luck. Does anyone have a good instruction as to how to remove this connector? What is the trick I'm missing? Thanks.

are your windshield wiper squirts not working?

this is something I need to address soon as well, more annoying than anything else

Did you figure this out yet?

I am going home tonight to replace my washer pump. I have not looked at the connector yet, but it may have a slide tab that you need to slide up with a small screw driver in order to disconnect the plug. Otherwise, I can only imagine you might need to depress the locking tab with a small screw driver?

It is as I suspected....a red tab you slide up, then push I on the black tab and it will come undone
