Warranty Question??

I bought my 07 grand Cherokee used with 22000 miles on it from a non Chrysler dealership. Will the factory 36 month warranty still apply. The dealer ship which is a honda dealer said the warranty on it I would have to pay 50% parts and labor. Can any one help on this one ??

I bought a 06 GC Laredo from a Honda dealer with 28000 miles on it and I have brought it to the local Jeep dealer about some issues and didn't pay a cent. If it is under the original warrenty you shouldn't have to pay anything.

If you arew the second owner you are elgible to purchase the 7 year 70,000 mile powertrain warranty. I think there is info about it on the jeep site. I got it for $150. But you can only get it if you are the first or second owner.

Since it was a rental it was titled as a fleet vehicle and may not be elgible for some warranty coverage. I'd just call a Jeep dealer and speak to the service department.

hmmm, I'll have to look at my receipt/agreement/warranty paper to find that out...I'm at work until 1130pm tonight; however, I may be able to get the info if it's still in my glove box.

If you send me a PM with the last 8 characters of your VIN and your current mileage I'll verify your warranty coverage for you.

If you have an 07, then you're most likely still covered unless you've already hit 36k miles. But be sure to buy the extended warranty before you hit the one year mark because that's when prices increase. Try eServiceContracts. That's where I got mine at a discount.
