This seems like a MUCH better option than a throttlebody spacer.

No this throttle body is the same bolt pattern as the stock one, bolts right up

Stock tb is 2.5" diameter 4.7l tb is 3" diameter

With the Volant intake and 4.7l tb I've seen a gain of about 2mpg average driving 50/50 city highway. Before I was at 15.5 recently I've seen 17 maxing at 17.5

Did the Volant intake fit the 3.7 AND 4.7 throttle body without modification, or was a an adapter added?

EDIT: Just saw your other thread and looks like you have a 3" adapter.

With the stock tb you need a 3 1/2 to 2 1/2 coupler, with the 4.7 tb you need a 3 1/2 to 3 coupler. They are $10 from Jegs

Think I worded my question wrong. So for this 4.7 throttle body to fit my K&N cold air intake tube, I'd need a 3 1/2 to 3 coupler?

doesn't the K&N stop at the resonator box? if so i think the resonator box outlet is 3" so you'd just need a 3 to 3 coupler

Gageraid has a KK so I don't think it has a resonator box. I saw this post a few days ago and went ahead and ordered one of the 4.7 TBs for my KK. It looks like the KK uses the same as the WK and XK 3.7 engines (as well as the JK 3.8 and a few other Chrysler/Dodge vehicles)

Ok, it all depends on the k&n intake tube. If its 3" then you'll need a 3 to 3 coupler, if its 3 1/2" you'll need a 3 1/2 to 3 coupler.

Thanks. I'll have to take some measurements and start looking for a 4.7 throttle body if this works on the KK.

We had one installed on the 07 3.7L since March last year, when we pulled it off the sell it was still running great and still no CEL. The one we took off is currently forsale, no longer need it since we upgraded to a 06 4.7L
