So first off, let me apologize if this has been answered somewhere else, but I searched through about 10 pages and couldn't find an answer to my question.

Anyway, I have an 06 Limited Commander with the RAQ (6 disc cd/mp3, sat) with steering wheel audio controls. I am thinking about upgrading to the REC model with Nav, but I also want an aux input. I know the Mygig's have this, but not sure what that install might entail.

Back to my q; is the REC a plug and play replacement for the RAQ? I have read something about needing an amp, but not sure if mine has one. I realize I will need a replacement bezel as well?

Which is better/easier to install? The REC (and add in a iPod integration unit for the aux input) or a Mygig?

Ok, so does anyone have a dark khaki nav bezel for an 06 for sale?

you need the amp for the voice to work on the REC nav.
the amp is located behind the rear seat, drivers side.
wkjeeps.com for instructions on how to see back there if you have it.

I dont think the REC has the aux input. and also, the ipod wiring kit, the 200 dollar one, is not sold anymore by Jeep. but look around, there are Aftermarket set ups to connect an ipod an such.
