Under hood Lamp /Light

Has anyone installed an Underhood lamp / light on their Jeep? My 99 WJ came with an underhood lamp yet my 07 WK does not. Has anyone installed this? Suggestions are appreciated. Thanks!

Ashley

Waterproof LED strip. Done.

Look up Omelet's rear cargo light project, same thing really.

I had this on my first JK:

I put a super bright LED bulb in it. Real handy with the retractable cord and magnetic base. I haven't put it on the WK yet, but I don't foresee any issues doing so. It turns on and off automatically with the hood angle.

5050 SMD light strip on the bottom of the hood does wonders. There is only like a 1 foot strip on there. They cost like $20 for 15'

If you want something cheap and easy , just pick up an underhood light off a wj from the wrecker . they are complete with a gravity switch .Screw it under the hood and Wire it direct to battery .
