trailriderGC06 Build Thread

Hi all,

Well, after owning this Jeep for 1.5yrs. my tires are finally ready to be replaced. I am still in college and on a very limited budget, so I made a deal with myself that I wouldn't start pouring money into this Jeep like I did my previous 2 Jeeps (97 TJ and 04 TJ).

Guys, I didn't think these tires were ever gonna wear out! lol But, they finally are and now for the fun stuff!

I graduate in 4 months and now I feel comfortable with spending a little extra money. So, now it is time to "JeepUp"!

Jeep Description:
2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited, 4X4, 5.7L Hemi, QDII, no lift and 245/65/r17

In the Mail:
2" Rough Country Budget Booster
1.5" Wheel Spacer
265/70/r17 TreadWright Guard Dogs

she's gonna be pretty when you get it all done, man. There is another guy that has same color and set up your thinking of doing, so hopefully he'll pop on and give you some insights!

Thanks Jvenrick,

I am pretty pumped but this waiting game is for the birds. I see in your signature that you have the same lift and size tires that I ordered.
Did you need to get your front end aligned after the lift was installed?

Yes, I would def recommend getting an alignment after the lift. You want to keep those new tires looking good!! Ha

Kinda figured that but with it only being 2" spacers I wasn't sure.

Thanks for confirming for me man.

Off Subject:
Have ya'll watch any videos of a guy named Gary on youtube that has a WK?
He designed a snorkel system for his WK.
His videos crack me up. He is a nut.
Here is a link that shows his snorkel design and... if you haven't seen any other of his videos watch them. He is pretty rough on his jeep.

That guy is perhaps one of the biggest Internet tools I've ever seen. I can't tell if he's being serious or not. I really hope he's not.
