towing with a commander

while my dads been looking at a commander. im guessing it should be fine for towing a 4,000lb boat. Im just curious how people would think it would do flat towing a TJ or even towing one on a 16' flat bed trailer with brakes on both axle (think that would be pushing it, im kind of leaning towards that but am not sure)

just looking for opinions.

thanks

Ty

I see no reason you can't.

Just bought a Hemi Commander rated to pull 7200#. Won't know until spring whether its good or not, but I traded in '03 H2 rated at 6500# and I had no problem pulling my 8000# boat on a twin axle trailer with surge brakes. Hoping the Commander will be as good if not better.
