Thoughts on Flowmaster for 3.7 WK

I am looking to get a flowmaster muffler put in my 2006 WK. It has the 3.7. I am thinking about either the super 44 or the 40 series delta flow, single in/ single out. I am also considering putting a tip on. I am wondering if anyone has a flowmaster muffler on their 3.7. If so how does it sound? Will a tip make it sound better? and how much will it cost for instillation? Any other thoughts or comments are welcome as well. Thank you!

Flowmasters dont usually sound very good on 6 cylinders. I have a 40 series on my v6 pickup. Not good, i bought it like that. My advice to you would be to remove the resonator for a bit more sound or go with a 50 or 70 series flowmaster.

Or spend the $$$ on something else like tinting, roof rack, tires, brush guard. You might like it for a little while but the drone and noise will wear you out.

Magnaflow mufflers sound pretty good on the 3.7, not as loud as flowmaster but IMO a better tone.

Look for examples on youtube. Get the exhaust if you want but go conservative.

I looked into flowmaster but ended up getting the magnaflow system instead, it has a deeper tone and is not as raspy as the flowmaster 40. Just my opinion.

I put a Flowmaster DeltaFlow 50 series on my 3.7 and i dont like it, im thinking of putting the stock one back on. I just wanted that huge stock muffler that drug on everything out of my way. Even with the tripple chamber 50 series i still dont like the sound of it. Makes me wish i would have looked for the V8 version.

Look on you tube. There's a guy with a 3.7 on there with a Flowmaster Delta Flow 44 that sounds really good. I had a Thrust welded on my 3.7 and it sounded awesome but has a lot of drone and I lost some low end power.
