Superchips wk low range rear axle lock feature?

I read in the directions that you can use a superchips programmer to program a wk equipped with Quadra Drive 2 to have the rear axle lock up when you put the Jeep in Low range - any idea how to do this? I have one of these programmers and can't find this feature anywhere... here is a clip from the directions.

Axle Lock
Locks an axle in 4WD-HI on the Wrangler JK, Commander XK (5.7L HEMI) and Grand Cherokee WK (all engine sizes). The axle locking feature works on the front and rear axles, but cannot lock both axles at the same time.
• Axle Lock is a stand-alone feature meaning no programming is required.
• If you exceed 30 MPH for 15 seconds or longer, the Axle Locking feature will
automatically disengage to avoid damage to the axles.

Is the tuner up to date? This is something I have not personally tried.

Yes I updated it twice with success via superchips' web site but when I connect the tuner and go to advanced tune there is no mention of this ability to lock the rear - that would be awesome if it is possible to do this!

FYI- the axles lock by themselves when you put it in 4-Low already.

The feature is for regular 4-hi which the vehicle is always in. I haven't tried it... they lock up nearly instantly. Even some of the tougher climbs at Rausch i've done in both 4-hi and 4-low; the lockers engage as soon as that first tire comes off the ground I don't even notice it.

Great to know - I have not ever taken this thing out and wheeled it yet but plan to. So this is all prep work now! I was just wondering about this feature only because it was advertised by Superchips.

I figured it must be in there somewhere... and maybe I just didn't hit the right selection to get to it? I have a post on Superchips' web forum too with hopes in getting a response from their staff on this - that will give us the final word on the "how and where" for this feature.

I don't really see the point since you would constantly be turning it back on. The axles lock when needed almost instantly anyways. It would be nice to have some adjustability into the lockup though. I would love to be able to adjust the bias to rear for a little extra fun sometimes.

I got a reply from superchips and the guy (Ron) said he was not even aware that this was a feature was written into the instruction booklet! Well it's there in black and white! LOL So he is looking into it... I let you know what he says...

Honestly, you gotta get that WK offroad.... this setting means nothing with your QDII system. It's not worth the time to plug in the superchips.

You are absolutely right - I just need to sell my 5.9 first and install the 2 inch lift and get bigger tires for my WK.... anyone want to buy a 5.9 ZJ? LOL!

You have a craigslist add or something? I have a friend who just moved out to the east coast from Cali and he's looking for a trail rig. (he's a member of that xk/wk forum)
