studs broke on wheel spacers

Drove up to PA for the 4th to see girlfriends family, yesterday I made sure all the lug nuts were tight and 2 broke off. Bought them from 4xguard 2 months ago.

Would there be any problems driving back with just spacers on the front?

Doesn't sound like you have a choice. What brand spacers?

What did you torque them to? I'm guessing you over torqued them.

Sorry to answer your question, you should be fine without spacers on the rear unless your tires rub without them. What lift and tires do you have? You don't have your vehicle info filled out

Are they the blue ones? If so, they are Spidertrax I believe. You should contact Spidertrax about it. They have a limited lifetime warranty. So if it was a material failure, you could get a new set free.

Possibly! Unless the install directions were not followed correctly, them I'm sure the warranty is void. They have a specific torque setting like most bolts.

OME HD lift with 265/70 duratracs on stock wheels. Doesn't seem to be rubbing but I wasn't sure if it would screw anything up running spacers up front and not on the rear

They were torqued to 100 ft lbs

No you're fine with those tires. The rear will have a narrower track width than the front, but that won't be a problem for your drive home.

I'm sure 4xG will work with you, I'm not sure how Spidertrax is with warranty issues. You might want to read their warranty first as they might require them to be installed by an authorized installer? I know some companies will have that in there!

Cheaper/safer to buy rims with the correct back spacing in the 1st place.

had the same thing happen to me on one of my old 1" wheel spacers.... i had 3 studs break off on it and the wheel fell off when i came around a curve.. no damage to the jeep other than snapping my bilstein shock in half as the tire folded into the wheel well.

i dont remember the name, but im going with over-torqueing of the wheels as the cause. ill run them again one day but for now i dont need them

Cheaper? I haven't found wheels any cheaper, unless your accounting for damage due to spacers.
