Strange request regarding aux input

I have a 2005 Grand Cherokee and recently put in a factory radio with the built in aux input on the front. If I plug the 3.5 connector into the input and "giggle" it it produces static...ok...the simple fix...don't giggle it. But if that's not normal I may try to get warranty out of it...but if that's what happens when you "giggle it" then all is well.

Can someone test it for me pretty please? If you have an aux input on the front of your radio giggle the 3.5mm connector and see if it produces static...

Thanks........

no way that your going to get factory warranty out of that. Its just static thats produced when the male aux end is brushed against the female aux end. Its just what happens no matter what or who makes it.
