Snow Beast

With all the snow (plus lake effect)we got over the weekend. My stock performed like a beast out there! Never got stuck. The side streets had 2ft of snow and I was just climbing/crawling past people that were stuck. QD2 was doing it's thing!

Sorry but I had to share this proud moment.

Yeah, I thought I was going to need 4low to get out of my alley, there was snow-drifts of close to 3ft in some spots. It was funny seeing people watch us in doubt as we hauled through, snow crunching, jeep bouncing side to side, I swear I heard my jeep giggle at times.

I did use the 4-low though, just to see if I would have any issues with the whole "service 4 low" thing. Didn't have any problems. . Jeep started right up this chilly morning -11. I'm all around happy.

When you have to put you jeep in 4lo is when you know it's bad and I've had to do it to get out of some muddy situations lol and once in snow. That and I forgot to shut traction control off so that got me stuck

I can imagine how much more fun I would've had if I had a rig like yours 94Jeepman, I was literally trying to get stuck so I can see how my 4lo would do. Maybe next winter I'll be sitting up a little higher.

Follow Chicagoan here and yes, these things are fantastic in the snow! I spent yesterday morning pulling people out before I caught my train.

I love my jeep minus the 2" lift with 33s I now need some new front fenders and a little body work on my rear fenders

Nice, I've been looking for a decent recovery strap but I haven't decided on anything yet. I sure could've used one Sunday night with all the people stuck.

You must be wheeling the heck out of that thing. I'd be happy w/ some bilsteins and slightly bigger tires. I'll be good for a while with that.

Sadly I try not to wheel it because I don't have a lot of travel with my 33s so I'm always tearing them up. But I'm save up for my super lift now

I had my traction off but I thought I seen it flash a couple times. I thought I read something about holding the button down? Is that right?

Shame on you! That's a GM term! Lol...

While you're stopped, hold down the traction/stability control button for an eternity (I think it's actually 10-15 seconds). It'll say ESP off on the dash (just like 4lo does) and it'll all be off.

That's how it works in my 08 at least, could be different for you.
