Skidplate / snowcover

New user here from Northern Finland.
I have 08 CRD with original skidplates. Last winter I pushed my Jeep too hard in to the snow and packed snow destroyed A/C evaporator through lower opening in front. Does anyone know or is any manufacturer interested in making a such front skidplate that would protect also the lower opening? Ideal option would be to be able to remove opening cover for summer and put it back for winter. Temperature wise it would be fine to cover opening for winter since it will be around -10 to -35 degrees celcius. (14 to -22 F), engine would like it.

I don't know of any armor for that location specifically but nothing is stopping you from getting in to business selling them!

If you get the 4xguard front skid it comes up fairly high and it would be easy to fabricate something you could fasten to the top of the skid and the bottom of the bumper. I stuff a piece of screen in there in the summer to keep the bugs out and it stays put real good.

Thanks for replyes!

4xguard with DIY extension could be one answer. RRO has one solution allthought not covering whole opening. Has anybody installed RRO hidden winch bracket on CRD GC, relocating intercooler? That should be relocated according to their www page.
