Seeking advice on buying 2009 Overland

Drove and Overland today with hemi, quadra-drive II. Loved it. Mileage is a little higher than I would like, 47,000+, and the seller only bought it a few months ago. He ended up getting a job at a distant location where parking is also a headache and decided he needed something more fuel efficient. I can qualify for an extended warranty apparently, but have no reliable way of knowing how well it has been maintained. I drive around 20,000 miles a year, more freeway than not. Can a well maintained WK go 200,000 miles? I am guessing I can get it for around $23 K to $24 K. Thanks.

Do it, im sure he'll respond to this later but there is a guy on here that has a WK with a 120xxx miles and still going strong. You'll be very happy with these machines especially if you plan on offroading it, very capable.

I am at 119K on my 06 Overland other than starter going out it has been reliable.

The wife drives the 06 Commander Limited with 152K other than starter it has been reliable as well.

Both Jeeps are regularly maintained with 3K mile Oil Changes etc.

200,000 miles on a 2009 Overland is absolutely possible with proper maintenance.

too bad you didn't purchase it new because all 2008 and 2009 GC's came with a Lifetime Powertrain Warranty (which is not transferable).

the '09 Overland Hemi as you are considering is the pinnacle of all Grand Cherokees: highest HP Hemi engine which got a bump in power over the pre-2009 hemis, best drivetrain system QD2, highest level of content and features. There was no 2010 Overland and the current generation of Overlands are just not as good if you ask me.

buy it and enjoy the best.

Thanks for the feedback. I was wondering why I was not seeing any 2010 Overlands. FYI, I came across a 2009 with QTII, apparently they did both systems.
