Scratched Chrome Wheel - Replacable?

My lovely girlfriend was driving my 06 GC and got a little curb burn on my chrome factory wheels. After looking at it, it seems that the chrome portion is just a cap that is separate from the actual wheel (I may be wrong).

My question is, is it possible to replace just the cap instead of paying for the approx. $330 full replacement wheel?

The chromed portion is permanently bonded to the wheel.

Try a junkyard.

That is my plan of attack if I do any damage in the future. I really hate the idea of chrome cladding. They look fine when they are not damaged, but the threat of future damage seems much greater.

Too bad you dont live here in Tucson. But there might be something like this where you live. Here, there is a place called Nu Wheel. they repair wheels. I took a chunked up chrome wheel a while ago...and about $100 later it was good as new.
