Just to confirm with the rear hitch mod you can fit a full tread 265/70/17 duratrac on a AEV wheel into the spare tire area......

What is that on your wheel? Is that a big weight?

Yea it is a stick on weights covered by duct tape....an old racing trick

How much weight did those take to balance? I always liked the stick on ones better. The ones on the bead never last long in the rocks I like the duct tape idea though

Not sure, but I took it on the highway yesterday and the steering wheel was shakin a little. May have them rebalanced. I have read that you want the weights closer to the center of the wheel....I noticed on my Mercedes that the factory uses stick on weights..plus they are on the inside closer to the spokes. Not on the outside edge.

Ya after loosing a couple weights in the past, I was thrilled when the Nittos didn't need any weight to balance. Now I don't have to worry about it. I hate driving home after a trail run and having the Jeep shake!

Cant say that about these tires/wheels.....they needed a lot of weight and yet they are still not balanced...may have Jeep dealer re-balance them when I get an alignment.

Yea they have a hunter tire balancer...those machines can balance almost anyhting....

Hey, Scootr, since you recently did an install on your Rusty's rear tracbar I had a couple ?'s.

Did you have to order over the phone or is there a part#?

What did it run you $ wise?

Any pointers on the install itself?

You do need to call in...I think total was $175 w/ shipping. You will just need to figure out which side sticks out...probably the drivers side and adjust the trac bar...you will not get it perfect...I am out 1/4 inch on the drive side compared to the passenger side. At that point I called it a day.
