No need to disconnect anything. U joints and extensions with an impact. I did it.

I've had this same problem for a couple of months now, driveway is a mess. Ryan, you mentioned you were able to source a tank for $900 shipped to Edmonton from a dealer in the US, correct? Would you be willing to share the name of the dealer? From what I've seen on the web, the lowest price before shipping is about $1,030 plus about $100 shipping. Still a far cry from the $2,200 quoted to me by a dealership in Stoon. I wouldn't mind saving another couple of hundred!!

And thanks so much for the post. I've been wondering what the tank setup looked like for a couple of months! Looks like it would be pretty difficult to salvage a tank once it starts leaking. I'll be putting a coating of POR15 (or equivalent) on my new tank once I get it.

I had mine go in August ,I sent it to rapid rad and they repaired the holes and recoated both the inside and outside of the tank for $500.00. So far everything is fine. I'd recommend taking it to them
