^^^ Granted, I haven't wheeled a SL'ed WK so I don't have anything to compare - but, an OME/modified OME is a killer set-up and will flat out impress.

I love'em! They are kinda loud, but I don't mind that at all and I expected it. They are great in all conditions and chew right through all the snow we've had. I'm looking forward to getting them in some mud soon

The "off-road" pic is from a closed forest preserve i want into for a bit and screwed around. Nothing too exciting.
Thanks for checking it out. I'll have some more mods done before too long

Rear Tow Points...

I have my brackets for front tow points being made right now, but I need rear points as well. I want just going to get a hitch, but I NEVER tow anything (until I need to, I know) and the kit, for everything is actually more than the 4XGuard rear sliders that I can throw a cpl d-rings on... Not sure which way to go

Any thoughts?

Personally, I would spend the money and get the OEM hitch. It would be nice to have if you ever needed to tow and it's also great for things like hauling your mountain bikes and such.

I agree, the practicality of the hitch is undeniable. However, the rear skids look really cool. Lol.

Both will happen at some point. The hitch for now is provides a tow point and practical use so ill probably go that route

I mentioned before that the salt has pretty much ruined my wheels that I bought this summer. They are polished alloy wheels, any problems with taking a steam cleaner and pressure washed to these to get them real clean and plasti-dip them black? I'll check for corrosion before i do this but was wondering if anyone's tried this with anything other than stock wheels before...

I have the same color rig and IMO, the black and blue look is badass.

All my chrome besides the thin strip below the windows has been plasti-dipped and I wished I'd done it sooner.

Rig looks good so far Btw

^ agreed

I like the blacked out look on every color...but black which is what I have. If I had a different color rig I would've bed lined or plasti dipped all the trim by now but I have a black truck so I've been trying to think of something different or unique for my rig. (Sorry for the rant haha) to answer your question I like the black hahahaa
