RRO and RC lift questions

I have the wheels and tires (255/75/17) and am now looking for a BB lift for my WK. I would like to hear from people who have either one of these lifts and how much did you actually get out of it? The reason I ask is that I am noticing some companies that advertise a certain height but actually gives you less, or more in some cases. Thank you in advance.

I have been trying to find 1" hubcentric spacers and so far these are all I can find. Does anyone have any experience with eBay bolt on spacers?

I wouldn't buy random spacers on ebay, get some spidertrax or rough country ones.

08 WK 3.7 QT1, RRO 2.25" lift, Bilstein HD shocks and struts, 255/70r17 revo II's with 1.5" spidertrax, Mopar skids, Saguaro D-shackle mounts, Hella 500's.

Yeah I know someone around here had an ebay spacer fail on them. You get what you pay for.

my biggest fear is if they fail and there is an injury and the insurance lawyers go nuts with it. Lots of stories on the 'net of folks being declined coverage after spacer failures. I won't use them for that reason. otherwise I'd be running a set of 1" eibachs.

Better off, from a liability standpoint, of getting different wheels.

Eibach make 1" hub-centric ones for the WK, if 1" is what you are looking for.

Get a torque wrench from snap-on or harbor freight and torque them once a month and you wont have any problems.

I mounted the wheel and it barely touches the caliper so maybe I will going it down. They are off of a 2012 Rubicon so they need about 1/4" clearance or less. They Eibachs are expensive so ill look at the RC spacers.

Has anyone tried trimming their calipers to get Rubicon wheels to fit?

I was going to get the RC spacers and my local shop told me they had some issues with these due to corrosion and I should only look at Spidertrax. I had just put on the RC lift on my 05 GC that I bought through them so I trusted their judgement. I bought a quality torque wrench and put the supplied loctite that came with the spidertrax on. I drove to Florida and back 2300 miles round trip with no issues and feel 100% confident in these spacers. I will be rotating my tires myself through the winter and will monitor any corrosion. None to be seen yet and no balance issues at all. BTW I put on 255 Rocky Mountains and they were extremely quiet for a long trip. No uneven wear now with about 5000 miles.
