RRO to OME ?

Made a few searches and read back through a good few posts but couldn’t find anything..

Has anybody swapped from a RRO lift to OME ? If so do you mind answering a few questions ?

Did you notice a difference in lift height, higher, lower or the same.

what do you think of the ride compared to the RRO lift ?

Also would someone with an OME lift be kind enough to measure from the bottom of the wheel arch to the centre of the wheel and supply me with the figures. (fender to spindle)
Thanks

I went from a Revtek lift to OME and the ride is wayyyy better. The height is a bit higher. Probably like a .25 in. Ill check the measurements for you when I get a chance.

ctate, thanks for the measurements, looks like the OME might give me a little more lift it's not much of a difference but it's there..

Your OME 22 front, 21 rear, My RRO 21-3/8 front, 20-5/8 rear.

you could just swap out the back end for OME... the only weak part about RRO is the rear spacers, from what I hear. Im running RR lift with no problems yet, but if I do encounter problems I will swap out the spacers for OME coils (I already have the shocks on)

edit: unless you already have the money to buy the OME lift, that is... im poor.

I'm poor as well

Changing only the back end out is a good Idea, unfortunately I've just been given an advise notice during my yearly ministry of transport inspection (MOT), the front passenger shock/strut has just started to weep fluid so will need changing out at some time (gotta do both at the same time), I thought rather than replace with originals or bilstiens, I'd find a bit extra cash some-where and go OME.

Just wanted to know if the ride & height were different.
