Hopefully these ones will be better (bigger)

JeffW 12-20-2008 09:24 PM

Looks good. I can't wait to move mine up to level.

xoxstugotsxox 12-20-2008 09:38 PM

Looks good! How do they handle in the snow?

kiddonick 12-20-2008 09:46 PM

Like a dream!
I wanted to test them like a goofball I drove through my front yard with 13 inches of snow.....No problem AT ALL for these tires.

They are still $94.00 a piece on tire rack....and worth every penny.

Do you have wheel spacers? If not, it looks really good.:2thumbsup: I don't like the wide look.

kiddonick 12-20-2008 10:04 PM

Nope I didn't want to go with wheel spacers.
It just has the RR 2.25" lift and I did have to trim the ball joint stud up to the threads to make room for the larger lugs on the tires.

So far no rubbing has been noticed.

RR 2.25 and 255/75/R17 questions
Pics look great, it is what I am leaning towards as well.
Did your MPG and MPH accuracy change much? Did you use adn spacers?
I think I have decided to replace shocks, since I am at 60k already.... what did you do?

LJS8510 01-19-2009 07:14 AM

looks great, nice job

WSPJeep 01-19-2009 09:21 AM

And since its been about a month, any rubbing issues?
I am really considering these tires, but am worried about the BFG's in the rain and I can get Bridgestone dueler at 265/70/17 for $10 more. Thanks

Good choice! The way a wk should look!

Nice that looks just like mine but I have the BFG MT. Unfortunately I do not have a pic. One question for you, Did you change the struts and if so, what did you use?

WSPJeep 01-22-2009 02:15 PM
