RPMs

I have a 2005 Limited with QT2 and the 4.7 v8. When I'm running down the freeway at 70 mph I'm turning 2100 rpms and 2200 at 75 mph. Is this normal?

Yes it is normal. It's normal for the Hemi's atleast i dont see why the 4.7 would be too much different.

yea thats normal, and you will find with the 4.7 that right around 2000rpm you get the optimal MPG

what size magnaflow? i have the one largest in length, i believe its 22"- its the closest to stock dimensions as possible. drones not terrible at 2000-2200 rpm. its bearable

Just measured and mine is the 18". It was a little more loud then I really wanted. Sounds great just gets annoying going down the freeway. Going to see about replacing it with a longer one.

Really wish I could just swap someone for a stock muffler
