Roof Carrier - Rage Powersports Black Widow

Didn't find anyone that has posted on this specific roof cargo basket so figured I would. Seems okay so far but will post after our 1600 mile round trip next week. Installed easy but have to cut the mounting bolts shorter as they stick up into the basket area. Other than that really good price. Wind noise was like a drone sound before putting on the deflector (sells seperately). Clearance to the cross member screw knobs is REALLY close but it clears.

Okay - after 2000 miles it with a Highland roof bag full of stuff the mileage dropped by 2.1 MPG. I was pretty happy because I still got over 20 MPG. Could have been packed better for MPG but for the price and odd stuff you can put into a roof rack and waterproof bag vs a hard shell Yakima, Rola etc it is really nice - although they sell those too.
