Retrofit or New Housings

I want everyones opinion, should I do the retrofit idea or just get new housings. Have stock 08-10 halogen housings now but my driver side headlight is full of condensation. Looking to get rid of some of the chrome inside the housing either way I go. If i were to do the retrofit kit I'd be nervous about opening up the housings and messing with it. So what are everyones thoughts

If you have the patience to try and pry apart your housings then I would say go the retrofit route. I personally got aftermarket OEM style black HID's and just rewired the lowbeam.
