I need some dome light LEDs , the ones I got from superbrightLED just keep burning out. Anyone have a link to a better suggestion.

Try turning your bulbs around.

I purchased mine from Ebay. I don't remember the company, but there are lot of kits out there. I recommend switching to LED. They are way more efficient, and they look a lot better. The kits make it really easy to pop the old lights out and install the new ones.

I installed the ebay kit lights on my 07 Jeep Grand Cherokee the other day, the one confusing thing is that they gave me 4 of each style of the lights. so 4 of the long tube looking lights and 4 of the wedges, when I asked them about it they just said the kit is universal for 05-10 jeep GC's (contradicting statement) and they didnt offer to fix the issue. So anyways I installed the 2 tube looking LED's into the MAP lights and then the 4 wedges went for the floor lights and the rear seat. But the license plate lights are not the same as the MAP lights so now I have 2 spares.

Anyways the lights are a great upgrade and pretty damn bright! Its still cheaper to buy this kit then each bulb individually.

Now I'm just trying to find a really bright trunk light that will fit in that housing. Thinking about trying this bulbs as it has 260lumens but not sure if it will fit:

If you run LEDs all the way around in the interior you will have either the dome, or map lights glow due to the lack of resitance in the current. That's why I left my cargo light alone

You might be able to get away with running a resistor in the system somewhere.

Fink let us know what you find!

Some people do but I just found it to be easier to leave the stock bulb in to be the resistor and do the "cargo led strip mod"

Ok Gents, I have an answer regarding the Cargo light in the liftgate... The one I ordered DOES fit.

I ordered from superbrightleds.com and got the following which does ALL interior lights:

2 x 921-CW12: Cool White (footwell lights)
3 x WLED-WHP5: Cool White (one of these is for the liftgate cargo lamp, the other for the rear passenger assist handles)
2 x 4410-CW9: Cool White (Map lights)

Replacing the liftgate cargo lamp is a PITA. You first pop off the clear cover and then there is a black mounting plate that will be loose inside the liftgate door trim. If you look at that mounting/backing plate (the one that the lightbulb is mounted inside) you will notice it can be compressed to be removed through the liftgate trim. Compress this and remove it a bit in order to be able to support it enough to get the new bulb in. TEST IT BEFORE YOU PUT IT BACK TOGETHER. Once you verify the lamp works, align the clips on the mounting plate with those on the clear cover, lock them in place and then proceed to put the mounting plate back in its home. It will compress as you push it back through the trim
