Yeah I agree, and for the price I wasn't complaining. I have about 13000 on them and they still look good, even though they are offroad quite a bit.

07 Overland 2wd with the CRD , I have only had it for a month now. Soon it will get a 2 inch front lift and 265/65-17's for a slight increase in tire size. Spacers and exhaust are also on the way. May do a prerunner style bumper later on down the road.

I was looking through the "club" threads and realizing we need to bump our own thread.

Love the Overland grill. By 2" front lift do you mean a 2 inch budget boost or just some front leveling spacers? How do you like the CRD so far?

Either the normal Rough Country 2 inch from spacers or OME front springs. This CRD rocks, i seem to average 22 MPG daily driving it, i'm making a roadtrip next week so i will see what it does over 300 miles of freeway. I'm so happy i picked it up over an Xterra, i do kind wish it was 4x4, but .... not really needed.

22 mpgs - that's great! BTW - why not get the full OME f/r lift? You'd love it!

I only want to level it out, the truck already looks dumb it the 2+ inch stinkbug rake to it, i would need to lift the front 4 to 6 inches if I used a rear lift kit on it. Also i'm only going to a 1 inch taller tire 265/65-17 , so i don't screw up my towing abilities.

I'm not sure if they made the crd suspension differently but a 2inch rake is a big difference for a stock truck.... There are leveling lifts out there just take a look at my profile pic....

Also, do realize when you level the truck out the rear looks lower then the front, the wk has two different size wheel wells which gives the look of it squatting which can be corrected by adding load leveler shocks to the rear

That would be fine too, but would take a lot to get it up there. I don't know if they use the same spring and the CRD is heavier, etc etc but mine sits way nose down. It even feels like i'm looking through the top of the windshield while driving down the road.

BTW i wish i could meet the freaking idiot who decided the seats needed to sit that dam high in the truck. I'm thinking about cutting 3/4 inch off my seat rails to bring the seat where it should be. I'm 6'1 and almost hit the headliner, my friend who is 6'3 has to dam near recline to the back seat to keep from hitting.

Shine is not what she is doing tonight, after a day in the snowy urban wilderness of Eastern Massachusetts

But there is no other vehicle my wife would rather be in riding shotgun under these conditions.

Me, I've been lurking here for a while, but mostly hang with my buds over at the Durango Owner's Club. Made for an interesting discussion with the Plant Staff at the 2007 Newark Plant Tour when I showed up with my new WK, but they heard every word I said about why I didn't but a Gen-II Durango.

So now that the Gen-III Durango is built at the same plant as the WK2, it was homecoming last August

http://www.modernmoparmagazine.com/w...no-suv-either/

Though you never see my WK, I was the driving force behind the event

I'll probably be hanging out here a bit more, though, as I start having minor gremlins invading my WK and as I lust after a WK2 SRT
