Red painted calipers

I just got the calipers painted red. They look amazing! Looks really good with the black rims. Opinions?

Ehh, never was a fan unless they were some huge performance brakes.

I always painted my iron calipers silver so they didn't show rust though...

Opinions? .............never understood the point of painting the calipers. I mean, to each his own and if you like it that is all that matters. Just not my cup of tea.

I agree though, it does look good behind your wheels.

I like them. I want to do em too to add some more red accent to my Jeep. What'd you do? Yourself, a shop, etc. ? How much $? (If you don't mind me asking)

Mine were painted red when I bought the Jeep. It also had a red pinstripe down each side that was easier to remove than it was to put on. Now the calipers are shedding their red paint and look like crap.

Love those wheels though!

Red > road grime/rust color. I also agree with all the comments above about the good looking wheels

Thanks for all the compliments on the wheels. The brakes were done by a shop, and the paint has a 5 year warranty!

100$ each. But with the 5 year warranty, it's worth it. Plus they were done extremely professionally. The brakes were completely removed, cleaned, painted, and baked.

I did mine red as well. It seems they have go be repainted every year if not every season. They look good though.
