Recall (Dealer PCM/TCM Flashes) and Tuners
Just thought I'd throw this out for those that run etiher a Superchips or Diablosport Tuner, who are not aware. If you take your vehicle into the dealer and they flash your PCM/TCM, for any reason, with your tune still installed, your tuner will not work when you get it back. It'll cost around $100 to get it reset by the tuner maker. YOU MUST RETURN YOUR TUNE TO STOCK BEFORE YOU TAKE IT IN FOR THE FLASH.

After it gets flashed by the dealer (for the recall)will you have to send your new stock file back to your tuner to be adjusted again? Meaning if I flash back to my tuned file will it remove the corrected recall fix?

Always recommended to flash back to stock prior to a dealer visit. If they update the ecm code with the tune in, the flash tool will be locked. If you had it back to stock and the dealer updates the code, you can erase the flash tool with pc and perform a new 'stock' read of the ecm and email in for the new tune. GDE
