Questions about aftermarket 6" fog lights for 4xGuard Matrix

I would like to install a set of fog lamps on my 07 Commander. I'm pretty satisfied with the factory lighting so I'm not looking to do a driving lamp kinda set up.

I'm thinking about 2 yellow 6" fog lamps. I'm going to just wire them on my own, so I'm not going to have to run the wiring though the factory harness. This way when its like pea soup outside... I can just flip an illuminated toggle switch, and they will come on, no matter what other lights I have on at the time.

I read that the lamps are supposed to be limited to 55watts for street legal driving and that yellow bulbs/lenses seem to be the best color ( I read about orange and red and stuff ...but that's not possible, since I want to avoid getting pulled over). I'm not sure if there is any advantage of a yellow bulb itself...or if clear bulb, inside a yellow glass housing is a better design. I remember growing up in the 70's and everywhere you looked, you saw yellow fog lights.

Anyway...I'm trying to find a water tight, decent set of round 6" lights, in a black case enclosure that will mount into the pre-drilled holes, of my Matrix mount.

I found wiring kits online that were not too bad... or I could just put my own together I suppose since I already have a few nice toggle switches sitting around... just need to get a relay and some wiring.

I'm not interested in chrome or anything flashy, although I would like to find a set that has the black plastic guards over them (to help offer a little protection and style). If only the grill was chrome, I might still consider them...maybe.

Unfortunately, it seems everything I'm finding has KC emblems all over them, or... Super 4x4, etc. I'm just not into advertising and going for a simple look.

I wondered if anyone else found a decent set, with black case cups and plastic guards... but not flashy?

Thanks...Walmart never occurred to me. I'll have to take a drive there this week and see what they carry.
