Question about the 4" superlift welding process

I am in the process of installing a 4" superlift on my WK. I wanted to know what welding process people used for the crossmember cut and weld. Should I heli-arc, stick, or just wire feed it? I don't know how much pressure this crossmember supports. Suggestions?

Mig or tig is fine. Mine is just with the Mig. You could use Arc but might have to clean it up after.
