Quadra-trac I

Anyone here using this system on there Cherokee? I know it's a glorified all wheel drive system, but does it hold its own? Anyone have any experiences with it? I know the Quadra-trac II is the way to go, but in Guam there are only 3 Grand Cherokee's left for sale, so one can't be too picky.

Thanks in advance.
