Powertrax No-Slip in Jeep WK qt1

Hi, new to this forum (but have read advice for many years on here)

To the point:

I have looked all over many jeep forums and cannot find an actual solid confirmed answer of a powertrax no slip locker working/actually installed. Every post I have read is just theory and one post i've read about someone with an xk that was going to install it but had no update.

My jeep is a 2005 jeep grand cherokee laredo (wk) 3.7 L with quadra trac-1 4x4. The rear axle is a C213R with open differential. Now I've read that it is supposed to be the same as a chrysler 8.25 29 spline corporate. BUT it is actually a 8.3 and not 8.25?

NO single part store online lists this locker as being compatible for this jeep, even the manufacturer does not list it being compatible. BUT yet it is compatible for all chrysler 8.25 29 spline axles (even for a liberty of the same year). Yet everywhere I read about any parts for a jeep wk qt1 axle diff it is only referred to as a 8.25 29 spline axle.

I have found information that a spartan locker will work for my jeep and is listed as compatible from manufacturers and retailers, and it is listed to fit all chrysler 8.25 29 spline axles as well.

So am I missing something here? Is it possible that the powertrax has a slightly different set up that it won't fit for some crazy reason? I plan to email the company to find out their reason why it does not list any wk or xk as being compatible. But I'd like to find out from someone here first hand if they have installed the powertrax no slip? Thanks.

manufacturer part number in theory that is supposed to work: 92-0382-2905

Contact them. Who knows they might send you one for free to see If it will fit. I read a thread on jeeps unlimited were the guy asked ARB if it would work and they sent him one free and just asked that he report back if it worked.

A lunchbox locker for the C8.25 29 spline rear should work.

Regardless of brand.
