Only a dealer or Jeep specialist can activate this feature thorugh the computer interface providing you have a factory alarm system.

NO! there is nothing to activate!

I have a StarMobile and don't show up any feature for panic button or alarm setup.
I think that is a WIN problem, maybe the European version don't have this feature??? There is some European user that have this feature??

Do you have the "Full" software options ? Even the Euro keys have a panic sensor under the blank button. The only difference with the Panic key is the the red "Enabled" button. You need to press and hold the button for a minimum of 1 second but you need to initialize the key with the vehicle computer with the correct software option....

Have a look at:

http://www.wkjeeps.com/Manuals/2005_WK_Jeep_Grand_Cherokee.pdf#xml=http://wkjeeps.master.com/texis/master/search/mysite.txt?q=panic+alarm+button&order=r&id=d06190e 93ca9b26d&cmd=xml

In some countries the panic alarm was not an option due to various laws. Only the correct option softare will enable it. Euro software may not have this option but as long as you have the factory alarm and you can find a Jeep Dealer / specialist with the "FULL" options then it can be activated. This feature was mainly for the US market.

I have starmobile desktop client 9.05 and in the preparation veichle don't show up nothing for alarm and panic button. I can enable chirp horn when I open with remote, duration, but nothing of panic.

Maybe it is a dealer option with dealerCONNECT?
