Awesome thanks bud! I hate how expensive that little guy is. But mine looks a little iffy and I don't want it moving about.

Oh right! No I haven't extended it yet. I won't need to until I get new shocks. It is ok for now.

Well after taking the antenna off unscrew the chrome piece. That will allow the mount to come off. I used a towel and some robogrips!

When I installed the SL I realized just how much the turning radius sucked with it. So today I got around to doing something about it. I planned to trim the stops and decided to grind the lower arms since they would be cheaper to replace if need be. Before trimming I only had one complete turn of the steering wheel from center to lock. Now I have just over 1 1/4" turns with out the 35" tires hitting the frame.

Before:

After:

I removed a 1/4" from the stop. I could go a little more, but I want to see how this works for the time being. Even a little bit will help drivability. I don't know how everyone else with the SL has been able to stand it, especially those with smaller tires!

Damn, just thought I'd have to live with the turning radius. Thanks for the info!

No problem Bud! Glad I could help.

I swapped my 295s back on today! The 35s are back home in the garage for a couple weeks until I get back home and hit a trail. I forgot how much more smooth of a ride the Nittos were! I don't have a pick, but I swapped the blue center caps over to the graphite set and they look pretty good

Hahaha! Well it is too dark now to take any pics, but I will try to snap one on my way out in the morning. I hope I have given you some great ideas or at least helped inspire some of your own

Do you have any measurements on your roof rack? I'm debating on building one! I'm thinking 1.25" tube .090" thick and I want to replace the existing rack all together! Expanded metal floor with tube support under it.

Yes, these things are awesome! A great upgrade for very little money.

That sounds about right. I don't have any measurements though. Have you tried Gobi's site? You might find info there.

It is the HD one. I didn't want the antenna wiggling around while wheeling. Just wanted a little buffer for impacts.
