True! Although I wish it only took me a couple hours. I am very picky about my prep and paint, so it took me a bit longer. But still a cheap quick mod!

And that color blue is called???

Omelet, on the door lock mod. Instead of installing the chrome ones like you did, what if you just cut off the top of the black ones? Cut off that little protruding knob and sand it and paint it black?

It is actually a MOPAR color called Intense Blue Pearlcoat (PB3) but I bought the Dupli-Color duplicate from PepBoys.

You could try but the hole on the inside might go up that high.

It was time to see how the blue looked against the Jeep!

The wheel

The hood

Front end

Rear end next the the ORT8 sticker

Yes! I think this will do nicely

Hey omelet is your grill just one piece of steel or did you cut it into sections and did you have to bend it to sit flush? Thanks again

It only took like 4 hours.

Thanks the Jeep is a never ending project but every Jeep guy knows that. Also thank you for helping me decide on a color to paint my new Stroker. That blue is awesome.

It started out as a 24"x24" piece that I cut in half so it was two pieces of 24"x12". The first piece covered 4 slots and the second covered the other 3. You don't have to bend it. When you secure it in place using screws across the middle it will form fit it's self. If that makes sense?

Haha! This is true! A Jeep is never finished. And you will love the blue. It is even more Intense in person. I am not sure yet how well it will hold up to heat. I plan to use it on my calipers so we will find out soon enough.

That Blue is awesome!!! Does that match the engine pieces you have? Because something tells me my engine bay might be resembling yours soon

I was going to paint my calipers yellow to match my OME shocks and struts but this blue is redic!

That's a nice Blue Nathan. You have FAR too much time on your hands!

Seriously man, you are making a far too nice Jeep to offroad it now!
