IIRC he's already got one.

Those tires look like they took awhile to cut but they look pretty "grippy".

^^Yes What he said! I have one that I used on my last set of KM2s.

If I get this set I will also be looking for another set of Moabs for cheap to mount them on. I will keep the Nittos as my day to day set, but swap to these when I know I will be hitting the trail. So we shall see if the guy ever responds to my email!

So for the benefit of those who don't want to buy new door locks but still want some low profile ones, here some awesome info for you!

I chopped one down to 1 1/8" the same as the billet ones. Then I used a drill bit and made the hole go all the way to top leaving only about 1/8" from the end. Here's the chopped stock post next to the billet one.

You don't have to chop them for them to sit flush. You can leave them the stock length, but chopping them makes it easier to screw them back on. All you have to do is drill them out farther. Here is how it sits once modified.

And then locked.

So if you like your stock locks and don't want the billet one, then this is a very easy mod to do! Although if you plan to do this you might want to go easy on the soft plastic locks. As you can see I didn't really care about mine and they got chewed up pretty good. I hope this is useful news

So I made some more progress on an unfinished mod today! Still not quite finished though, so I will post pics tomorrow after it is done.

Oh I will also include some pics of a new item that is coming home with me tomorrow. . . !

Haha! You know it!

The guy lives 50 miles away so I had to refuel before leaving. This is really starting to hurt!

Luckily I got there and made the deal just fine. I loaded up five 35x12.50R17LT BFG KR tires. Four of them are cut for dirt and one of the for mud.

Not bad for $400! And he gave me a couple gifts

Oh, I got the wave from two XJ guys on the way too! Haven't had that for a while.

I will have more pics up soon. The KR is a short track competition tire. They come with a basic groove and then the individual teams custom cut them however they like. This set was used in one race and then given away. I will be looking for another set of Moabs here soon to mount these on. Not sure how I will paint them just yet, I have a couple ideas However they turn out, the white letters will be out because that is the way they were designed to be.

Ok here is a shot of the mud on the left and dirt on the right:

Next to the Nitto:

^^^ Also on of the free wheels I got!

Not sure what I am going to do with this but I really wish it would bolt on.

It is a Champion beadlock with runflat!!! Unfortunately its a 5x5.5 bolt pattern. Not sure what these go for, but I might be able to get something for it.
