It's creeping up on 110k which it will hit soon. I will have a bunch of maintenance due at that time to include the diffs, t-case, and tranny

The snorkel is officially all finished! The fender liner wouldn't go back in because of a hump in the liner that was hitting the tube.

So I cut the hump, flattened it out, and used my tire groover again and patched it back together.

It's not the most beautiful thing, but it works and didn't take too long to do. I was able to get the liner back in there along with the insulation. It feels so good to finally have this project finished!!!

So before I left on deployment I killed my Dewalt 14.4V cordless drill which I had been using and abusing for many years. I didn't want to spend the money on replacing it at the time, but I didn't want to leave my wife with nothing the whole time. So I went and picked up a tiny little 12V. I was quite amazed at the power the little guy had and we both have really enjoyed it's size and weight. Anyways, now that I'm home and starting to knock out some projects I wanted a new drill with an actual chuck. I went to Lowes and came back with a new 20V Max brushless drill/driver/impact combo kit for $250

I can't wait for the first project where I have to put these suckers to work! I played around with them in the garage for a few minutes and am very pleased with the power they have in suck a small package!!!

I feel ya. I am about 1500 away from 100k. I've got a bunch of maintenance too: radiator flush, power steering and brake fluid flush, front suspension (tire rod ends, sway bar bushings, etc). I need to get it up on a jack and check the front LCAs - it would be nice to not have to do those too.

In other news, welcome home from an old Recon-Marine.

Thanks bud, it's nice to be home! I really want to flush my brake system too, but I have been holding out for some braided stainless steel lines to swap in. I'm about to give up and just do it anyways!
