so i was reading lifted_ups thread on JU, is the extended bumpstops an alternative to modding the rear fender nate? or is it needed in conjunction with the rear fender mod? thanks as always

You can extend the bump stops in the rear, but I would suggest rolling the fender first and then if your tires still rub then extend the bump stops. If you roll your fender you will maintain your wheel travel, where as if you extend your bump stops you will loss travel.
This worked great for me this weekend. Easier than I thought. Only regret was using dremel to cut plastic molding, as it melted it more than cut it. This combined with being in a hurry left it a little messier than I would have liked. Otherwise, it looks great and rolling the fender was easy as well as painting it. Love to here what others used to cut the plastic trim. Thanks for the great guide!

I had some steel 1/4" wheel spacers I used for a while. They aren't the safest though, I'd stick with bolt on hub/wheel centric ones.
