Just after I was finished I measured and there was no change, but I haven't measured since then to see if it made the coils sag over the past few weeks.

Will do! It will be a couple days though. It is up in the air right now. And yes it was in that weight range, plus I have the Matrix and front guard. I don't remember how much those weigh.

This is one of the slickest neatest installs I have seen!

Congrats on a top job Omelet.

You should.......you did an awesome job with the fab and final details. It looks like an add-on Jeep would offer when you buy your Jeep! I would love to do this to my XK, not because I really need a winch but, because of it's Badassness (<---new word, look it up)!!!!!!!!!

I don't need no stinkin' signature!

I like this idea.....this is what I would want, I'm not hardcore off roader enough to really justify a bumper and what have you. Plus I always like the sleeper look of vehicles.

DAMN!!!! i knew there was a thread on this kind of install...this pretty much answered all my questions. Im sorry if i steal your idea but i prefer this option over buying a thousand and some dollars on a heavier bumper. Forgive me but im gonna have to steal this idea. I've thought of it since the day my front bumper came off after a wheeling incident.
