^^^Yep what he said, the www.thesteelarmadillo.com

I got my new antenna in the mail yesterday, but was too busy to instal it. So I just went out and did it! It is a 10" stainless steel antenna powder coated black.

Old vs New:

Once installed:

So much better than that rusted up OEM antenna! This one won't get battered by tree branches either.

It is a guy on JG that makes them. I can ask him for his email and send it to you in a PM if you'd like?

I like them, but $650 kills it. Ouch.

Poor grammar is something up with which I shall not put.

So far reception is the same, but next time I drive up north I will see if I get my stations as far or farther than I usually do before they die out. That will be the true test. Around town there should be no reception drop. This is the 10" version.

Chris I got it on a trade, but I think they are about $25 which is great considering it is SS and not aluminum. And the fit and finish is awesome! Are you talking about the reverse LED cluster bulbs and the front switchbacks for the signals?

That is the price after shipping right?! Because they are normally $450 plus shipping for bare steel.

Yes, and I don't live near enough to go get them. They look fantastic though!

Ok I am working on the email address, I will send it to you when I get it.

Here is a set of bulbs similar to what I have in the rear:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/3157-Super-W...item589225ff62

I have been thinking about giving these a try though. Those LEDs are bright:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1156-Ba15S-C...item27c0498a44

And this is what I am using in the front:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/2011-2012-Do...item3cc11fa5c8

The price of these has gone up since I get mine. I paid about $45 for the set and they are now $65. So you might want to look around and see if anyone can beat that price.

No I didn't use loc-tite. I used a crescent wrench and a rag to get it pretty tight, no one will be able to take it off with their hands.

Piggy me on the antenna pm if you have time. Looks much better than the rubber kind. You won't get the wind bend.
