off roading in dallas area?

I'm looking for an area in the north Dallas area that is cheap. I'm new too the jeep world and recently bought a 06 Commander limited HEMI. It's all stock now but i plan on a 2" lift and spacers with a set of 265/70r17 in a few months. I just want to get a feel for how it does off-road. Thanks for any help

Used to off-road behind Dallas Christian Academy by 635 and Oats. Bunch of land back there owned by the power company. Technically you're trespassing, but I've off-roaded with cops out there before.

Northwest OHV park out in Bridgeport or Barnwell Mountain in GIlmer.

I'm up in Frisco -- give me a shout sometime.

Yep, look for the only lifted Silver WK in town (Frisco that is), and only one of two lifted total.
