look up liftedup's old build thread, he had a locker in his, i forget which locker but i think it was somewhere in the $350 range and he said it was easy to install. He had a 4.7 but it should fit in a 3.7 too.

Will do, thanks.

Had another busy day working on the wk. UPS delivered the ARB compressor (ckma12) and KC Daylighters at 8:30 this morning so I had all day to work on installing them. The KC's were a breeze to do, looking forward to testing them out and aiming them this evening. I'm going to order some of the plastic stone guards and put them in place of the smily faces. I'm not a huge fan of the yellow. Installing the compressor was a little more challenging. First off the wiring harness has WAY more on it than it needs to, at least for my application. I had to spend some time studying the diagram to figure out what was what. I ended up mounting it in the trunk because I wanted easy access and to keep it out of the elements. Eventually I will probably move it to under the hood but for now I am happy with the location. Once the pump kit arrives I'll be able to give a better assessment of how it works!

For my purposes, yeah. I'll be using it for tires, camping gear, and air tools. It's designed to run lockers which is probably it's most common use.

Running air tools from the rig would be awesome. How much do those compressors run anyway? (If u don't mind me asking)

A couple of light output pics. First shot is the lows, fogs, Hella's and KC's. Second is highs, lows, fogs, Hella's and KC's. Plenty of light! The Hella's are super dim compared to the KC's though.

Upgrade those Hellas to 100w! Lol I'd be interested to see how 100w Hellas compare to the KC's.

Hey ducks (and moose, actually, too)

I have an 08 WK 3.7L. A rare type it seems. I didnt get a hemi because I wasnt as knowledgable back then. I am ok with what I have, though.

Its basically stock (Laredo). The only things I have done is add a custom CAI and a Magnaflow exhaust system kit. It rumbles and I love it.

I have now decided to do the lift. I am not much of an off roader, so this is mainly for looks.

I am getting th eOME HD kit and I have decided on Duratec 255/70/17. Do you think I would NEED to do the pinch weld mod for these sizes? And what MPG decrease or increase have you seen with the lift and extra weight? I am planning on getting the hypertech computer flash, too.

Any advice or help would be greatly appreciated.

also be advised...I am not doing any of this myself...cant wait to break my wallet at a shop...

Hey man. I have a couple of suggestions, just to think about. First if you aren't going to be doing much off-roading I would recommend going with the ome md instead of hd, your ride quality will be quite a bit better and since you wont (I'm assuming) be adding a bunch of extra weight from skids etc it will do just fine. As far as the pinch weld goes you'll definitely want to do it in the front, just to be on the safe side. It is really easy to do, I say do it yourself but the shop may do it also. I took a quick look online and it doesn't seem like the duratrac's come in a 255 70 17 or 255 75 17. I could be wrong on this but I think your only option for duratrac's is going to be 265 70 17. If thats the case then spacers and pinch weld will be necessary, the rear fender trim will not be. IF you plan on doing any off-roading I would definitely do the rear fender trim, I didn't at first and took a few slices out of one of the tires -- not a good feeling.

When I put the duratrac's on I think I lost about 1-3 mpg depending on circumstances. The Hypertech programmer brought those back, so you should be about where you left off. Be sure to post some pics when you get it all on!
