Notrans Build Thread

Hello everyone,

After many months of saving and trying to figure out what I want it's finally time for me to start building my jeep. I have an '05 WK 4x4 with a 5.7l Hemi. I decided to go ahead a get the Superlift w/ Rusty's leveling kit after contemplating the OME HD. Im going with the 18x9 XD Monster rim wrapped with 295/70/18 (34.5) Nitto Terra Grappler M/T. Pics of the rims and tires below...

I also have on order a Superchips Flashpaq and K&N Intake. This should be a fun build. Let me know what you guys think when I start to get all my parts.

That's awesome man, congrats. Post up some pics of the Jeep now and progress pics as you go. One of my buddies just put those same Monster wheels with BFG MT's on his Ram. They look awesome!

P.S. The pic shows Monsters with Trail Grappler's, not Terra Grappler like you mentioned. Prob just a typo but don't want you to get them mixed up.

Curious how much that tire/wheel combo weighs?

Why 18 and not 17?

Thats a good question^^^ Ill find out how much they weigh and let you know. Im curious too now.

I picked 18 because I like the rim and thats the smallest size they made it in. Im going for the blacked out look.

edit: Found out that the tires weigh 72lbs ea. and 25 lbs ea. on the rims so that puts me at 388 lbs. for all 4.

You drive a tj, we drive a zj. We have more power while you get more shower. We get the v8 while you get there too late. You have 2 doors well, we have 2 more. Ours costs a grand while yours has a price we cant stand.
