Ahh, too bad. Then one could mount a Jerry can next to it.

It looks like this bumper project was more or less abandoned last spring. The OP can correct me if I'm wrong.

FMJ is building a custom rear bumper for me, with a winch mount, but they have a catalog item on their website for a rear bumper with tire carrier. I assume they'd ship down under.

There's a couple other folks in the US that make a rear bumper with tire carrier for a WK. People gave me a few ideas on my build thread, and I chose FMJ because they looked like they were willing to make something custom.

I was in contact last month, and last I heard they were waiting for the first one to come back so they could coat it and draft the installation instructions. But now I can't find the Facebook page it was on...? I'm glad to see FMJ is getting on board, but who else in the US is doing these? Blue Lake has a terrible rep in customer service, quality and lead time. I can't find any others.

Actually have them? The Crawl website has had them up for months, but didn't have the first one back from fab yet. I think it was on there for preorder purposes.

What's WAM?

You can buy WAM or Crawl Offroad bumpers right now I'm pretty sure.. Crawl had a group buy a month back I believe. Steele armadillo sells their stuff and they had 1 or 2 in stock completed. From scratch it's about 2 weeks. WAM is another company and they bought Tactical Armor Groups design for the WK bumpers. Now they made them. They are cheaper but a bit bulkier and the rear has to be welded on a bit.

When I talked to crawl last month the group buy was not done, and the original one was still coming for powder coat and install. The two that show in stock were placeholders so the group buy folks could pay, not product in hand. So unless you've talked to him recently I would not bet on it. If you have, I'm happily wrong but wondering why I never got updated.

On that not I think I'll just email him as I think this thread is no longer being updated.

I wish WAM the best but I'm not going near anything affiliated with Blue Lake or TAG (same thing).

Well the WAM has some pretty Good reviews... They're also cheaper and rear has gas cans carrier and high lift jack mount. They have TAG design but modified and it's a completely seperate company from TAG. crawl just seems too expensive for me... :/

Crawl says they are hopeful the rear bumpers will start shipping next week. So nothing on the shelf yet.

Have you talked to WAM about a quote? It says $1k on the website but the link to the actual bumper is broken. I'm wondering if after adding the carrier options it won't be as much or more than Crawl. And they are pretty specific that shipping is additional. I may just call them tomorrow...

This is an email reply I received from WAM

Sorry for the delay in my response ...

The JGC WK 05- 10 front starts at $520 you can choose from winch style or bumper only version. We offer a lot of different options for recessed light mounts, grill guards and tow points.we have 3 different finishes primer with satin black or black Bedliner or bare metal.

The Multicarrier starts at $675 you can add a Tire swing arm assembly for additional $250 with many different options for carrying gas cans and your high lift jack. We are currently at a 3 week turn around time. I have attached pictures and feel free to call me with any questions. Thank you
Shipping is estimated at $250 - $300 depending on your location

Thank you
Natalie Barnette

Hey!
Was wondering what is the price for WK front and rear bumpers from WAM. Also I couldn't find a picture of them if you have that. Thanks!

That's a lot better than the website indicated. I wonder if options for gas cans and jack mounts raise the cost any.

Of course with them in GA and me in WA it'll be the high end of shipping. Typical.
