New Production WK Rear Bumper

We've been putting in a lot of long hours designing and planning this bumper and now it is finally coming together. This bumper will have the option of having a rear tire carrier and trailer hitch. Like our front bumper these will be made to order so there will be room for customization. We are still working on the price but we are aiming for $1500 shipped with the tire carrier.

Sounds awesome. I'd love to have a tire carrier, then maybe put an auxiliary fuel tank underneath where the spare goes.

I spoke with Titan yesterday on their spare tire aux tanks and they're open to a retrofit for the CRD WKs. The dimensions check out, just need a skid plate/support bracket to bolt it in place.

This is the real deal. If you can keep that price point and not mess up like those tactical guys you'll sell alot of these. I might even be able to fit one in my budget next year.... group buy?

Also, what does this thing weigh and does it interfere with the tow package any?

Do you know which tank? Can't be the 30 gal Dodge ones, because it says they only fit vehicles that have a Class V hitch, and the Jeep WK CRD is only Class IV.

Any chances that this rubbs against the rear panels and start pealing of the paint ?

Which tank? A new one? Everyone they had looked like it hung down way too low.

Will they run a auto fill like transfer flow where you fill the new main and it feeds the OEM tank?

Its a 30 gallon dodge one (PN 4030203) and looks like they use a common tank design for this. The schematic shows its common for 4030213, 4020299, 4020208, 4010201 and 4010211. Dimensions are: ~30.4"x34.5"x13.7" just for the tank. Filler would be on the passenger side. I think this would be more of a DIY thing, but he did say that they could knock some of the price off for us since we'd have to fabricate custom mounting brackets.

I think this mod would lose a little approach angle on the back end (~4"), but might be worth it for a 30 gallon fuel boost without using interior or rack space.

Sorry for hijacking your thread ca07wk! I will clone this information back to the other thread at:
