New to the Forum - New CRD WK Owner

Just wanted to sign up and say hello. I just bought an 07 GC Limited with the CRD. So far I love it. Im already looking into things to do for preventative maintanence and improved fuel economy. In your opinion, what are the "must do's" as far as upgrades for reliability, durability, and fuel economy? Thanks everyone.

Search for CRD in the search bar. There are alot of things you guys can do to even prevent certain things from happening with your engines. Such as a GDE tune and DPF delete pipe. These mods can prevent certain things from failing on you and most CRD owners would tell you to get all these things first.

Welcome DanG28, Great to see a local guy on here with a CRD. I am only up 94 in Chesterfield. Owned my 07 Limited CRD since new. I'd be willing to help you out with what ever you need. I haven't done a GDE or DPF delete yet. But the GDE is in the definite near plans. Rolling 110000 miles and still love mine. Getting about 20 MPG with stock size tires and a 2" daystar lift and full steel skids.

Awesome! Im in Chesterfield every single day for work. Ive had my CRD for a week now, and according to my dash (will compare by hand calculation) Ive averaged 22.8 for my first full tank. Id love to get it over 25 mpg.

I will be daily driving it with my main concern being fuel economy. Might possibly be a tow vehicle as I plan on purchasing a boat in the near future, so any modification will need to be safe for towing. I will continue absorbing info and getting a plan together for improvements for the near future. Thanks again for the replies.
