Works like a champ. Well, to be honest, there have been very few times (maybe a dozen since new) when it wouldn't remote start, for no reason I could detect. I just put it down to maybe the driver's door wasn't completely closed or something.

In your case, I'm still eyeing that hood switch. But I can't believe they wouldn't have checked that in 6 hours (um, well, maybe I *can* believe it..)

Yea, im going to agree with you...I also read somewhere that there are two hood switches...one for remote starter and one without...maybe they replaced the wrong type before I got it. White for remote, brown without...I will check tomorrow. Wonder what one of those costs...

I only see one number in the parts catalog, though there might have been a running change on 2007 (don't have time to look that up at the moment)

Should be about $20 IIRC

Well, That wasn't it. i replaced the hood switch...no dice. I guess I wasn't meant to have remote start

My remote start doesn't work either. I noticed there is nothing on the display when my hood is open. Should there be? I tried to find a hood switch online but didn't see any. Dealer?

My hood switch came from chrysler parts...online. bout 20 bucks...but it didnt help.
