Need advice on tire size with OME HD lift for mall crawler Commander

Hello, I have an 2006 Commander Lim Hemi with QD2.
I'm adding the OME HD springs and shocks. This gives me 2" lift as far as I know.

I want to add MT Baja MTZ in 285/70/17, does anybody know if this will fit without mods on a mallcrawler ? Would I need spacers ? and if I do, will the wheels stick out of the fender flare ?
I would guess the MTZ are "bigger" than most 285/70/10 tires becuase of the pattern ?

I live in Norway, so I have to import the tires and its very expensive , so I want to make sure they will fit.

Just stick with 265/70/17's

They're the best fit all around IMO.

285's will work but I'd go with 265's.

I agree with JeepN4KC. 265's are a great option for the 2" lift. I have 255's on my 2" lift and they still rub a bit.

The HD springs will actually give you 3" in front and 2" in rear

Thanks for the input on both the OME and the tires. 265/70/17 is about a 32" tire I guess. Maybe that is a better option.

I got just over 3" of lift in the front on my 2007 Commander Limited with the OME HD lift plus the Rusty's 1/4" spacer. I am gong to be installing either 275/70-17 or 285/65-17 tires. At full steering lock with 265/65-17 Wilderness A/T's with 1.5" wheel spacers I have less than 1/2" clearance to the rear wheel house inner plastic fender to outer edge of the tire. These tires are just over 30.5" in diameter so anything much larger than 31.5" will rub a bit under full lock.

The 275/70-17 Cooper AT-3's are just a hair over 32" diameter and the Yokohama Geolander A/T-S tires are 31.75" diameter.
