Name that part!

Ok. Some smart*** decided to steal the black covers from my wife's 05 GC. It did not have factory fog lights, these are the black plastic "cups" that fill in those holes in the bumper. I am looking for replacements but dont have a clue what I am looking for.

Anyone?

Thanks

Someone who has them should hopefully be able to take a peek for a part number stamped on the back.

Yeah, aparently they are in really well, because the jerk who stole them pulled paint off around the holes when he took them.

Is there a method or a trick to removing them? I want to remove mine to install some aftermarket fogs or driving lights, so I need to remove mine. They would be available for a great price if I can get them off!

I don't know the part number, but I'm pretty those plastic vent inserts pop out, but if I remember, they were sort-of clipped in from the back. You should be able to reach up there and unclip them. I took mine out to install the Mopar fog lights, but that was a while ago and I don't really remember. If I still had the plastic inserts, I'd just send them to you, but I chucked them a couple months ago.

It's your lucky day! Just removed mine (it was quite easy, no wonder yours disappeared!) and as soon as I check the specs on some lights I want to buy, they can be yours. Give me a week to figure out the new lights.

How about factory fog lamps? Installs in under an hour, needs a re-program at the dealer but should be cheap. www.justforjeeps.com/lightsfog.html

I would give you my old ones but I threw them away...
